You’ve Come a Long Way, Baby!

I can’t believe it’s been three years. In some ways it feels like just yesterday, and in others it feels like a lifetime ago. For three years James has amazed and surprised me, made me smile more than ever, made me laugh every day, kept me on my toes, brought wonderful people into my life, shown me that truly anything is possible, given me gray hairs, sleepless nights, and a few extra pounds (it’s not all gumdrops and roses!), taught me to appreciate simple moments, helped me find my voice, given me hope, and shown me love like I’ve never known. I don’t know what I did to deserve to be his mom, but I feel incredibly fortunate to do so. His smile and sweet spirit make even the most difficult days better. I love my little J-Man.
